warning: boring but important information ahead
Please Try To Avoid Teleporting Your Character.
Keep in mind the distances and transportation methods involved with air travel.
If your character wakes up in the morning on their crew ship headed on a trading run to the orient, they're not going to be able to pop down to the coffee shop in the market for breakfast.
It's plausible that airships would have small gliders or planes for shuttles and reconnaissance, but even that would take time and would have limited resources, so don't abuse it.
If you are in an airship crew- whether it's military, merchant, or pirate- remember that your character probably has obligations and duties that mean they can't just disappear whenever they want. This doesn't mean that you have to rp asking for permission every time, but try to keep track of where your character is /supposed/ to be.
edit: you can have your character in more than one thread at a time, but try not to break the space-time continuum.
