Name: Berwald Oxenstierna
Country/ Code Name: Sweden // Sverige
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Affiliation: None currently.
Ship Positions: Engineer // Gunner
Likes: Fixing airships, Flying in airships, Art (sculptures)
Dislikes: Loud and Annoying people, Unnecessary and insensitive silly orders, his opinions and
views being ignored or unconsidered, others meddling with his work.
Job Skills: Anything that he can use his hands in, Engine mechanics, Ship Building, Sword Smithing, Artistic carpentry. Cooking.
Personality and short background:
Berwald is defined as a serious person. He is a man of a few words, and doesn't like having idle and meaningless conversations; This often limits him to a maximum of two words in most cases. But when the odd intelligent chat strikes up, he can become quite talkative and insightful, making him very good at debates. Berwald is also a man that never hides his opinions or thoughts if he doesn't approve of it, making him seem critical at times. Although, he can be open minded and accepting of differing opinions if it isn't ' stupid ' or expressed in an annoying way. Because of his limited amount of words in a single sentence, he can be seen as being brutally blunt and straight forward, he doesn't waste his time in hiding or wrapping the truth around to cushion the blow.
Despite this, he does have a more friendly side, playful even, once he is truly comfortable with a person. He does enjoy simple things such as the outdoors and art, eventhough he is not known for it, as he is usually seen locked inside his workshop working tirelessly on a single piece of machinery.
As for his past, He has served in the military for a time since a very young age, but decided to resign after he discovered that strict life of the military didn't suit him. At the time, he wanted to have his own way with things, and refused to follow or even listen to orders that didn't sit well with him. Now, he still asks himself whether he was simple going through a rebellious phase, and if he should join the military again.
Berwald as a child was also relatively reserved. But some say that he had more than his share of childhood trouble making. He was born in a town in the far north, and was raised there for a time until he enlisted himself into the military. He doesn't talk about his parents often, or rather no one got to know him long enough for him to mention them. Their current whereabouts are unknown, but Berwald assures anyone who asks him about them that they are still alive and he has contact with them every once in a while
Now, he works as a ship mechanic, simply living as a civilian until he finally makes a decision.
Other:
It seems that he does have a sort of sweet tooth as his favourite choice of pastry is cinnamon roll.

There. That should do it. Berwald quickly runs the cloth against his palms as he stands and take a step to the other side of the engine. It was a ship engine; one of the newer models. Infact, it was very new. It was strange to see such a young piece of machinery in his shop. But it was obvious that the assembly wasn’t done properly, so Berwald searched, found and replaced the bits of incompetent mechanism. He started the engine, and the machine immediately burst to life. No. That wasn’t right. It was sputtering. It shouldn’t sputter this much.. There was still something wrong. There must be a loose valve somewhere. Berwald turned the engine off and returned to his former place; underneath the engine. He grabs a few of the smaller wrenches from his belt and juggles them between his fingers as he tries to feel his way through the machinery.
He hears the door swing open and for the next minute he ignores the heavy footsteps that fell against his floor. Almost- Com’on. Got it. This should work. It should work now. He lets out a breath and pulls his hand from the inside of the engine. He carefully drops the wrench beside him and pulls himself out, “ B’ with ye in a min’,”
He straightens up and hurries to the other side of the engine to turn it on. Like before, it starts, sputters a few times then, a steady growl. A hum. Perfect. Berwald grabs the now black rag from his belt and scrapes it against his hands, absently staring at the rumbling machine, pleased. There was a cough, and Berwald remembers that there was a man standing infront of him. He looks at the man, nods and gently taps a hand on the metal before turning the engine off; silence falling suddenly around him. He steps towards the man, the rag still dragging across his skin, “ Need ‘nythin’?”
